Emily has been singing for approximately 17 years. She started to take her singing more seriously in 2005 when she joined Blackburn Cathedral Girls Choir. She was in the choir for 8 years, and achieved the status of Deputy Head Chorister in her final year. She moved on with Blackburn Cathedral’s Young People’s Choir, and sang with them for 9 years. Not only does Emily sing in choirs she also conducts choirs both inside and outside of University. In University Emily has recently set up her own classical choir. Emily has directed numerous choirs, but currently directs Walk This Way Choir in Darwen. Emily has recently finish her PGCE with Specialist Instrumental Training at Manchester Metropolitan University and Royal Northern College of Music and is waiting for her certificate!
